The Golden Globes always have the quirkiest television nominees, they tend to go for new shows, and new actors which explains a lot of nominees, and snubs (you have to make room).
The Good:
-The Good Wife received 3 nominations
-Tatiana Maslany for Orphan Black
-Monica Potter for Parenthood
-House of Cards gets 4 nominations including Corey Stoll
-Masters of Sex with Michael Sheen
-Brooklyn-99 and Parks and Recreation
-Aaron Paul and Breaking Bad getting its largest nomination tally ever
The Bad
-No Game of Thrones in Drama, it should have made it over Downton Abbey
-Only Taylor Schilling for Orange is the New Black? This show should have submitted as a comedy it would have actually won Best Comedy series, to bad Netflix messed up.
Shunning Clarie Danes and Mandy Patinkin when they have helped carry the show's third season.
-Not even John Hamm, Mad Men has had a bad week!
-No Veep in Comedy series, but Modern Family is back again?
-No Veep in Comedy series, but Modern Family is back again?
The Ugly
-The HFPA need split the supporting categories, its the biggest joke.
-The HFPA only nominated Vergara from Modern Family, any guess why? I will give you the answer, name her looks.
-That Comedy Actor race is terrible, Robin Williams should be there, and Andre Braugher should be there over Andy Smaburg
-Downton Abbey does not deserve nominations any more, sorry its fun, but not one of "the best"
-Lizzy Caplan should have received a nomination over Robin Wright in House of Cards, Wright's character is too stiff, while Caplan is orgasmic, yes puns intended.
