Screen Actors Guild (SAG) TV Predictions

Best Drama Ensemble
Breaking Bad
Boardwalk Empire
Downton Abbey
Game of Thrones
Homeland

Downton won last year, bigger cast etc., but this year Bad is the show to talk about, and the ensemble is well liked.

Will Win: Breaking Bad
Spoiler: Downton Abbey

Best Performance by an Male Actor in a Drama Series
Steve Buscemi-Boardwalk Empire
Bryan Cranston-Breaking Bad
Jeff Daniels-The Newsroom
Peter Dinklage-Game of Thrones
Kevin Spacey-House of Cards

Another Cranston versus Spacey showdown, with Cranston getting the farewell win

Will Win: Bryan Cranston-Breaking Bad
Spoiler: Kevin Spacey-House of Cards

Best Performance by an Female Actor in a Drama Series
Claire Danes-Homeland
Anna Gunn-Breaking Bad
Jessica Lange-American Horror Stroy: Coven
Maggie Smith-Downton Abbey
Kerry Washington-Scandal

Another two person race Gunn versus Washington.  I predicted Washington to win the Globe, but Robin Wright surprised.  Gunn could win along with the Bad sweep, but I think Washington has more support; she has the edge.

Will Win: Kerry Washington-Scandal
Spoiler: Anna Gunn-Breaking Bad

Best Comedy Ensemble
Arrested Development
The Big Bang Theory
Modern Family
Veep
30 Rock

Will SAG say goodbye to 30 Rock, they seemed to do that last year, time to move on to something new Big Bang or Veep.  I think Big Bang's got the edge, the show is more popular than ever.  Veep won big at the Emmy Awards.  Modern Family still has three nominations but less support.

Will Win: The Big Bang Theory
Spoiler: Veep

Best Performance by an Male Actor in a Comedy Series
Alec Baldwin-30 Rock
Jason Bateman-Arrested Development
Ty Burrell-Modern Family
Don Cheedle-House of Lies
Jim Parsons-The Big Bang Theory

Baldwin has never lost this award, does his gay slurs finally impacts his wins, that and 30 Rock being off the air for a year.  Jim Parsons finally wins this award, with Burrell as a spoiler.

Will Win: Jim Parsons-The Big Bang Theory
Spoiler-Ty Burrell-Modern Family

Best Performance by an Female Actor in a Comedy Series
Mayim Bialik-The Big Bang Theory
Julie Bowen-Modern Family
Edie Falco-Nurse Jackie

Spoiler: Julie Bowen-Modern Family
